Martinsville is a half-mile flat track that always produces some great racing. With this being the first race in the Eliminator Round, I think we’re going to see a race in which everyone is cautious not to screw up anyone’s title hopes. We usually see the same faces up front at Martinsville but there have been quite a few times in which a sleeper has came through with a top 5 or top 10. With how small this track is, track position is quite important, although we saw in the spring that it’s not impossible to come through the field (Kurt Busch won from 22nd, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. finished 3rd from 26th).
