Kevin Harvick – Early in practice he said, “Little tight. Really tight on exit.” 15 minutes into practice his crew chief radioed him and said, “Still really good speed.” During a run 25 minutes into Happy Hour he said, “Have to do something different there. Not as fast.” During his final run he said he was loose on exit but he had good rhythm in turns 3 and 4.
Kurt Busch – Showed good speed. “Feels pretty sporty.”
Jimmie Johnson – Had one of the quicker cars over a long run early. 30 minutes into practice he was happy with improvements and said, “A lot better getting in.” At the end of practice he liked his car and said it was comfortable.
Carl Edwards – Seemed slow.
Austin Dillon – Tight to the gas.
