Homestead Ford EcoBoost 400 NASCAR Practice #2 Notes
Kevin Harvick – Very fast running the top line. His crew chief said, “Lap times look good. Track is slick.” He reported his car was loose during his first run. Felt good about his car.
Ryan Newman – Worked on being consistent in all three lanes. He said his first run started off right and he got better on a long run. 25 minutes into practice he said something broke (bead blower). He returned to the track about 5 minutes later. 40 minutes into practice he said his car was better than it was yesterday.
Jeff Gordon – Had good long run speed.
Brian Scott – His engine blew up 5 minutes into practice.
Brad Keselowski – Had good long run speed at the start of practice. His biggest issue is on exit of turns. Towards the end of practice he got into the wall.
