Daytona 500 NASCAR Practice #2 Notes

Hendrick Cars – At the start of practice the Hendrick cars lined up in a pack of four and ran laps together.

Front Row Motorsports – The three cars of that organization worked together.

Martin Truex Jr. – Had an engine problem of some sort. Him and Newman had problems around the same time. His issue was a cracked oil pan. His team will not be changing engines.

Ryan Newman – Had an engine problem of some sort. Him and Truex Jr. had problems around the same time. Newman said, “Blew up”. Because of an engine change he’ll have to start in the rear of the field for his Duel 150.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Ran more laps than just about anybody. Said he was fast and he really likes his Daytona 500 car.
