Carl Edwards – Got new brakes and a new drive line prior to the session. He feels like he has good balance and his car is fast.

Justin Allgaier – Said his car is really good. Thinks he’s a tenth off. He also said his car drove good in the Duels.

Danica Patrick – Had a loose water line about 18 minutes into the session. The problem was promptly fixed.

Joey Logano – Didn’t practice and won’t see the track again until the Daytona 500.

Jimmie Johnson – Started practice making single file runs. Later in practice he did a run to check his fuel mileage. His single file speed was good.
