NASCAR Power Index – Auto Club
1. Kevin Harvick (LW: 1) – Four straight victories at Phoenix for Harvick, two in a row in 2015. Need I say more?
2. Joey Logano (LW: 2) – Logano rallied in the final laps after pitting during a late-race caution, securing another top-10 finish.
3. Martin Truex Jr. (LW: 4) – Only Truex, Harvick, and Logano have posted four top-10 finishes to start the year.

4. Brad Keselowski (LW: 8) – Keselowski hasn’t found the speed his teammate has, but sixth place and 52 laps led ease the pain a bit.
5. Dale Earnhardt Jr. (LW: 3) – A blown tire sent Junior into the wall on Lap 182, causing severe damage to his car. He was forced to the garage, finishing 43rd.
6. Matt Kenseth (LW: 5) – Following a speeding penalty on Lap 188, Kenseth slowly crept his way back into the top 10. But he slid from ninth to 16th by race’s end.
7. Kasey Kahne (LW: 10) – Kahne looked impressive in his 400th career Sprint Cup start, crossing the finish line fourth.
8. Jimmie Johnson (LW: 7) – Johnson overcame early and late-race incidents to finish 11th.
9. Ryan Newman (LW: 12) – Hello, Newman! Consecutive third-place finishes have the RCR driver ascending up the points standings and our Power Index.
10. Jeff Gordon (LW: 11) – Finally, an incident-free race for the four-time Sprint Cup champion. Gordon finished ninth.
11. AJ Allmendinger (LW: 9) – After starting in the back, the ‘dinger ran a good, but not great race, finishing 17th.
12. Denny Hamlin (LW: 6) – Never really a factor on Sunday, he finished a disappointing 23rd.
13. Kyle Larson (LW: 14) – Larson kept consistent track position throughout the race, culminating in a tenth-place finish.
14. Kurt Busch (LW: NR) – Busch was cleared to make his 2015 debut on Wednesday. Just four days later, he ran his way to a fifth-place finish at Phoenix.
15. Jamie McMurray (LW: NR) -“Jamie Mac”, the runner-up at Phoenix, ran with the leaders for most of the day.
