NASCAR Power Index – Martinsville
1. Kevin Harvick (LW: 1) – The No. 4 was fast once again at Auto Club, leading 34 laps en route to a second-place finish.
2. Joey Logano (LW: 2) – The 22 has lost a bit of speed, as Logano failed to lead a lap for the first time this season on Sunday. But his top-10 streak continues.
3. Brad Keselowski (LW: 4) – A four-tire change during a late-race caution proved beneficial for Keselowski, who soared from fifth to claim the victory at Auto Club.

4. Martin Truex Jr. (LW: 3) – At this point, it may be silly to call Truex’s success to begin 2015 a fluke. Another race, another top-10 finish.
5. Dale Earnhardt Jr. (LW: 5) – It did not take long for Junior to get back to form after a rough race at Phoenix, finishing sixth at Auto Club.
6. Kurt Busch (LW: 14) – Another spectacular performance from Kurt, who would have won the race without a phantom caution on Lap 200.
7. Ryan Newman (LW: 9) – Three straight top-5 finishes for Newman. The only question is, what does he need to take that next step and win a race?
8. Jimmie Johnson (LW: 8) – Johnson ran up front all day long, but a ninth-place finish left a little to be desired.
9. Kasey Kahne (LW: 7) – Not a particularly strong race for Kahne after his fourth-place effort last week.
10. Matt Kenseth (LW: 6) – A broken axle was Kenseth’s undoing during a late-race pit stop, leading to a disappointing 31st-place result.
11. Jeff Gordon (LW: 10) – Gordon lost a few spots in the closing laps, but still came home with a top-10 finish.
12. Paul Menard (LW: NR) – His fourth-place finish at Auto Club on Sunday was a career-best at the track.
13. Denny Hamlin (LW: 12) – Hamlin continues to be fast, leading 56 laps on Sunday, but issues on pit road cost him dearly.
14. Carl Edwards (LW: NR) – Edwards hasn’t been fiercely competitive in his new ride, but at least he’s finishing inside the top 15.
15. Kyle Larson (LW: 13) – Larson was most likely on his way to another top-10 finish before losing a bumper cover following the first attempt at a green-white-checkered finish.
Dropped from Power Index – AJ Allmendinger (11), Jamie McMurray (15)
