Regan Smith’s Martinsville STP 500 Fantasy Value

Kyle Larson is not racing at Martinsville and in his place Regan Smith will drive the #42.

At Martinsville Regan Smith likely has high-teens to mid-twenties fantasy potential. He has nine races under his belt at Martinsville with his most recent being in spring 2013. In that event he finished 22nd, had a 24th place average running position and earned the 24th best driver rating. In 2013 he experienced more success and had results of 13th and 16th.

In Regan Smith’s three races in the #41 this season he was consistent and had results of 16th, 16th and 17th.

One aspect that should be noted about him is that since he’s a replacement driver he’ll need to start in the back.
