Bristol Food City 500 Yahoo Qualifying Points Potential
Kevin Harvick – Kevin Harvick has been a qualifying point’s machine this year. In four of the six races this season he’s earned qualifying bonus points. In 2015 he has two poles and two second place starts. Last August at Bristol Harvick started on the pole.
Denny Hamlin – Denny Hamlin will be a pole threat at Bristol. In two of the last three races at Bristol he’s started first. Last August he started in 13th but in the three races prior to that he earned bonus points for those who selected him. On the new Bristol layout Hamlin has a series best 5.8 average starting position.

Joey Logano – Joey Logano always starts up front at Bristol. In 10 of the last 11 races he’s started in the top 10. In 4 of the last 10 Bristol races he’s earned bonus points for those who have selected him. Last year he qualified in 4th and 5th and was the only driver who started in the top five both races. In 6 of the 7 races this season he’s started in the top 6. On the new Bristol configuration Joey Logano has a 5.8 average starting position.

Brad Keselowski – At Bristol Keselowski currently has 7 straight top 12 starts. Last spring he started in 2nd. In 2015 he’s done a good job starting near the front. Minus Daytona he’s started in the top 12 every race this season.
Kurt Busch – Kurt Busch has started on the pole in half the races he’s been in this season. He uses similar setups to Harvick’s so that bodes well for him this week when you consider Harvick started on the pole last August. His last three Bristol starting positions are 2nd, 7th and 13th.
Matt Kenseth – In two of the last three Bristol races Matt Kenseth has started in the top five. Last spring he started in 3rd. In August 2014 he started in 16th.
Carl Edwards – Carl Edwards does a good job starting up front at Bristol. In the last 9 Bristol races he’s started in the top three 55.5% percent of the time. In the last two August’s races he’s started in 3rd.
