Ryan Newman team penalties upheld

Today Ryan Newman and the 31 teams final appeal was heard stemming from tire issues at Auto Club Speedway. All penalties have been upheld.

This means that …..

– His crew chief, car chief and tire specialist will be suspended for the next six points races including the All-Star Race. They will return at Daytona.

– The team will be fined 50 points

– The team will be fined $75,000
