All-Star Race Fantasy NASCAR Preview
Joey Logano – Joey Logano will be a contender in the Sprint All-Star Race. This year at 1.5 mile tracks at the start of races and over short runs nobody has been better than him. Since there will be no long runs in the All-Star Race this race will play into his hands to a degree. Starting up front in the All-Star race is important and at 1.5 mile tracks this season Logano has a series best 2.5 average starting position. Also at 1.5 mile tracks this year he has a 5.8 average finish and a 6.8 average running position. Among the 23 venues on the circuit Charlotte is home to his best average finish (10.0).

Sprint Showdown Fantasy Preview
Jimmie Johnson – At 1.5 mile track this season Jimmie Johnson has been the man to beat. In the four races at tracks of this length he has three wins and in the one race he didn’t go to victory lane he was leading before he pitted for a loose wheel. Charlotte Motor Speedway has been a great track for Johnson. He’s won here 7 times and has finished in the top five 48% percent of the time. Recently at Charlotte Johnson has been very strong. Last fall he was 4th place good but finished 17th after horrible late pit strategy. Last spring he went to victory lane and outraced Harvick at the end.
Kurt Busch – It takes a certain level of aggressiveness to win the All-Star Race and Kurt Busch has plenty of it. On top of that he also has a car that will allow him to contend. Track position is huge at Charlotte and his 2015 3.3 average starting position at high-speed intermediate tracks will be big advantage to him. For the season at high-speed intermediate tracks his average finish is 8.3. At Charlotte Kurt Busch is a former winner and in three of the last four races he’s finished in the top 14.
