#48 Team Dover FedEx 400 Pit Assignment Penalty Appealed

At Dover Jimmie Johnson was set to be penalized for having written warnings two weeks in a row by being one of the last drivers to select his pit stall regardless of qualifying position. The #48 team is appealing the penalty and the punishment will be deferred until their appeal is heard.
