Jeff Gordon – Was on the track at the start of practice. He focused working on his balance. Didn’t seem to be happy with his car.

Austin Dillon – Said his car was tighter but he thinks it might be related to being in traffic. Later in practice he was still tight in the middle. Towards the end he said he was really good for the first lap but then he gets tight.

Aric Almirola – He told him team that they made improvements but he needs to roll in the center of the turn better.

Clint Bowyer – He was loose towards the start of the session. 15 minutes into practice he said changes helped. 30 minutes into practice he said, “Car seems to come to me after we put a cycle on the tires”. During an interview at the end of practice he said his car was good.

Kyle Busch – Very fast and was good over his opening run. Brad Keselowski thinks he’ll be a contender.
