Greg Biffle – Didn’t like his car in race trim and didn’t have the speed he wanted.

Jimmie Johnson – Focused on qualifying trim the entire session. He said his car was feeling tight in turn 1. At the end of practice he said his car has been good.

Martin Truex Jr. – Worked on qualifying trim the entire session. Said his car seems to have good speed but he needs better balance.

Austin Dillon – Started in qualifying trim. Good in turn 1, loose in turn 3. Later in practice he said he was loose everywhere.
