Jimmie Johnson – Between practice sessions Johnson said he needs to find more speed. Early in practice he said he was loose. Over the course of a long run he showed good speed.

Tony Stewart – His team made a ton of changes between practice sessions. Changed his transmission between practice sessions and in Happy Hour he changed his transmission again.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Between practices he said he needs to find a way to enter the turns with more speed. With about 15 minutes remaining he said he was tight in the tunnel turn and loose in turn 1.

Jeb Burton – Spun coming off turn 3 and hit the wall hard on pit road. He will be going to a back up car.

Austin Dillon – Early in practice he said he was loose over the tunnel turn. He also reported he was tight in turns 1&2.
