AJ Allmendinger – Said he really liked his car in the first session. Was in race trim all of final practice. Said his car transitions good and turns good in the center. At the end of the session he wasn’t happy with his car.

Joey Logano – Said his car has good drivability. Said he’s missing a little bit of speed. Thinks he has a top five car.

Kevin Harvick – Started in qualifying trim. Joey Logano said he had very good long run speed. Made a 15 lap run and was fast. He liked his car.

Jimmie Johnson – Started in race trim. His car was very competitive on the stop watch. With about 20 minutes remaining his transmission was stuck in second gear. Reportedly his team fixed the issue.
