Darlington Bojangles Southern 500 NASCAR Practice #1 Notes
Austin Dillon – Got into the wall hard on exit of turn 2 after getting tight. His team decided to repair his car (Picture). He returned to the track probably about an hour and a half later. Towards the end he said he was loose into the turns but was pretty good through the corners.
Kurt Busch – Said he’s a little snug and his splitter was hitting the track in turn 2. This weekend Kurt Busch is using the new digital dashboard (only driver). Busch said everything was good with his car.

Joey Logano – Ran 6 laps at the start of practice and his lap times fell off nearly a second. He didn’t like how his car drove but he expects nobody will.
Greg Biffle – Had the fastest overall speed in practice #1. Reported that his car is just a little too tight. He seems fairly happy and likes the tire. Said he has good 5-10 lap speed.
