Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Texas
This spring at Texas quite a few drivers walked away with asterisk mark finishes. Being able to identify misleading results can be a big advantage in many types of fantasy leagues. Below are drivers who walked away with an asterisk mark result in the spring 2015 Texas race.
Paul Menard – Paul Menard had a great car this spring at Texas. His 41st place finish is the product of an engine failure. Performance wise Paul Menard had a good car and at the time of his engine trouble he was running inside the top five. Here’s a link to his Yahoo Race Chart to demonstrate just how well he performed.
Kyle Larson – Kyle Larson had a strong car this spring at Texas but he walked away with a misleading 25th place finish. That lack luster result is the product of him driving through too many pit stalls during a late caution with about 25 laps to go. Strength wise in the race he was about 10th place good. Here’s a link to his Yahoo Race Chart to show you just how strong he performed.
Ryan Blaney – It’s hard to judge how good Ryan Blaney was this spring because his race came to an early conclusion because of an engine failure. In 2015 he’s been in 14 races and in 4 of them his race ended early with an engine failure.
