Martinsville STP 500 NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes

Austin Dillon – Completely replaced parts of his break system between practice sessions after a fire in practice #2. Using Paul Menard’s setup. Started the session with a 10 lap run. He was 19th on the speed chart at the time. Towards the end of the session it’s reported he was much happier then he was in the morning.

Denny Hamlin – Seems to like his car. Plans to be more conservative on pit road this weekend. His car was very good on exit of the corners which helps him to be fast on the straightaways.

Matt Kenseth – Practiced on old tires in the first session. Happy with his car. Focused on making very long runs this session.

Chase Elliott – During his first run he said his car was a tick snug.
