Dover Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections – AAA 400
The races at Dover International Speedway tend to be pretty straightforward. We see a lot of the same faces up front whenever we stop at this 1-mile track, and I personally think some of the best racing occurs here. “The Monster Mile” is a 1-mile track that is technically considered an intermediate track. I like to think of it as a short track mixed with a bigger speedway. Jimmie Johnson has won here ten times throughout his career but, in all, twelve of the Sprint Cup regulars have been to victory lane at Dover. There will be plenty of story lines to follow with the AAA 400 Drive for Autism this weekend, but the one I’ll be keeping an eye on is whether or not Matt Kenseth can build on his strong run at Kansas. “The Monster Mile” has been a good track for him as of late. Looking at the schedule, we’re back to our normal routine this weekend: practice and qualifying on Friday followed by two practice sessions on Saturday.
