Fantasy NASCAR Lessons Learned – Hendrick Motorsports
The NASCAR season is now a third of the way complete. NASCAR lessons have been learned and here’s fantasy observations on Hendrick Motorsports which Chase Elliott, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kasey Kahne drive for.
Chase Elliott – Chase Elliott is the real deal. Right now he’s looking like the best rookie prospect since Jimmie Johnson. Chase Elliott’s greatest strength is his consistency. This year he’s finished in the top five a third of the time, and in the top ten two-thirds of the time. The only drivers with more top tens then him are Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick. Over the last six races heading into All-Star Weekend Elliott’s scored the most points and has a 6.3 average finish. I think it’s just a matter of time until Chase Elliott finds victory lane. When he finds it look for it to come at an intermediate track. This year at those venues minus Las Vegas where he ran well but crashed he has a 6.2 average finish. As the season progresses I think Chase Elliott will only get better.
