Fantasy NASCAR Lessons Learned – Joe Gibbs Racing
The NASCAR season is now a third of the way complete. NASCAR lessons have been learned and here’s fantasy observations on Joe Gibbs Racing which Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards and Denny Hamlin drive for.
Kyle Busch – Kyle Busch has picked up right where he left off last season. He’s in championship form and has been the best driver of the young season. In 9 of the 12 races he’s finished in the top five. In the three races he didn’t he wrecked. In two of the races he wrecked he looked top five good. This season Kyle Busch has been accomplishing a lot of firsts like winning at Martinsville and Kansas. Coming soon he’ll be looking to get Charlotte and Pocono off his bucket list. This season Kyle Busch has been an absolute fantasy stud at 1.5 mile tracks which make up the core of the schedule. In the four races held at tracks of that length he’s won the last two and has finished in the top 4 every race. My only concern about Kyle Busch is that it will be tough to keep running as well as he has. Right now Joe Gibbs Racing has a performance advantage and in NASCAR those are always temporary.
