Martin Truex Jr. – His team is pleased with their speed.

Jimmie Johnson – Had good long run speed with minimal drop off compared to Truex.

Ryan Newman – His crew chief likes his lap times 30 minutes into practice and said they were in line with the #78.

Aric Almirola – Made a long run to start the session. Too loose on entry. Later in practice he was still too loose. Near the end of practice he was good on entry but was tight on throttle.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Said his car was much better. His lap times held up well over a run.
