DraftKings Kentucky Playability Fantasy Value Chart
There’s three elements to scoring in fantasy NASCAR at DraftKings. I refer to them as “Dominator”, “Mover” and “Good Finish.” Dominator points come from leading laps and having fastest laps. Mover points come from drivers who are able to advance in the running order. Good Finish is pretty self-explanatory and it essentially sets a drivers baseline fantasy score.
Let’s talk about Kyle Larson’s fantasy values for Kentucky.
His Dominator Fantasy Value is low. Starting in 20th will make it nearly impossible for him to lead laps. He might be able to sneak in some fastest laps. In both Happy Hour and Practice #3 he had the best ten lap average.
His Mover Fantasy Value is Medium. I think he should be able to advance up quite a few positions. Realistically I think he has a great chance to finish in the top ten. A driver who starts in his position and finishes 10th will have a base score of 44 points.
His Good Finish Fantasy Value is Medium-High. I consider that just short of being high. In our Confidence Ranking Picks post I have him falling just short of the top ten.
