New Hampshire NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes
Kasey Kahne – Started with a long run and had good speed. At the end of practice he said, “Good job, guys. Good practice.”
Chase Elliott – Ran very competitive lap times over his opening long run. 10 minutes into practice he said, “That’s better than we’ve had.” Said his balance is the best it’s been. His drive off got better after the midpoint. Jumped to the top of the speed chart near the end and said, “I like that right there.”
Brian Scott – At the end of practice his team claims they found the speed and balance he was looking for.
Aric Almirola – Reported he was too tight rolling in the middle of the turns. After his second run he reported he’s still tight through the center, but entry and exit are good. Saw some positive tendencies in his car around the midpoint.
Clint Bowyer – Was able to roll the center of the turns better this session.
