Indy Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
The Crown Royal Presents the Combat Wounded Coalition 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is this weekend and there’s one thing on everyone’s mind: will Jeff Gordon make his return to the Sprint Cup Series? If Dale Earnhardt, Jr. isn’t ready to go due to his concussion–which I personally don’t think he will be–then we will see Gordon in that #88 Chevrolet on Sunday. Indianapolis is a big 2.5-mile flat track that doesn’t really compare to any other track on the circuit, but if you had to choose one, it would have to be Pocono, where we ran at last month. Kurt Busch won that race and the 4 of the top 6 finishers were Chevrolets but I think the Joe Gibbs Racing Toyotas are going to be the cars to beat for the second week in a row here at Indy on Sunday.
