Watkins Glen Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
The Sprint Cup teams will travel to Watkins Glen, New York this weekend for the Cheez-It 355 at The Glen. This is a road course not unlike Sonoma, where we raced at in June. Tony Stewart “beat” Denny Hamlin in that race to get the win. Now, just because they’re both road courses, don’t assume that the drivers that were good at Sonoma will automatically good at Watkins Glen. There are certain drivers that are better here at The Glen and not so good at Sonoma, and vice versa. Also, these road course events usually come down to strategy, so it’s not very often that we see all of the best cars at the front when the checkered flag flies. That’s just how it goes…
