Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR Practice #2 Notes
Austin Dillon – His team worked on finessing the handling of his car. His car has been on the splitter in both practices held so far this weekend. Towards the end he said, “I’ve never been this bad here since my career started.” At the very end he said the last round of changes helped his handling.
Joey Logano – Using this session to work on things for the setup he’ll use in Happy Hour.
Sam Hornish Jr. – Piloting the #95 for Michael McDowell again today. McDowell will return tomorrow.
Alex Bowman – Showed good speed. 40 minutes into practice he said, “It chatters, then snaps. It lacks grip through the corner.” He was 8th on the speed chart at the time of that comment.
