Richmond 2 Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
It all comes down to this, all of the drama surrounding the 2016 Chase drivers will finally be settled here at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday night. I personally don’t see anything changing from which drivers are currently in the Chase, but you never know. Richmond is a 3/4-mile D-shaped track that is technically a short track but it races like a speedway. Typically we see some great racing whenever the Sprint Cup Series comes to Richmond, and you can never beat a Saturday night race. From a Fantasy NASCAR perspective, most drivers tend to go in streaks here, so if they have done well recently at Richmond, they’ll probably have a good car this weekend. We ran here back in April and it was Carl Edwards who bumped his teammate out of the way for the win, but it should be noted that that race was held during the day.
