Dover 2 Post Practice Fantasy NASCAR Predictions
Rain wreaked havoc on the Sprint Cup Series for the second time in the last three weeks, as both qualifying and Happy Hour was cancelled this weekend. That means that Brad Keselowski will lead the field to the green for Sunday’s Citizen Soldier 400, and the full starting lineup can be found by clicking here. If you are interested in looking at the practice speeds, they can be found here: Practice #1 — Practice #2. I will have to warn you, though, they’re not very informative. Also, our in-depth notes for each session can be found here: Practice #1 — Practice #2. This race has the potential to get pretty crazy on Sunday but I think we’re going to see a very similar event to the one we had at Loudon last weekend: very tame with minimal wrecks.

Final Top 25 Ranking For Loudon 2
1. Matt Kenseth – Starts 4th – DraftKings Price: $9,700 – Yahoo! A Group
**Risk Factor: Low Risk**
Matt Kenseth and this #20 team let one slip away at Loudon last weekend but they could make up for it during this Sunday’s Citizen Soldier 400. Kenseth is a three-time winner here at Dover and has posted sixteen top 5 finishes in thirty-five career starts (45.7%) along with top 10 results in 65.7% of those starts (twenty-three). If you remember back to the race here back in May, Kenseth went to victory lane after battling it out with Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott, and that makes it five finishes of 7th or better in the last six “Monster Mile” races for him. Momentum-wise, Kenseth has three top 10s in the last four Sprint Cup races overall and should grab at least another one here on Sunday. The #20 Toyota was 3rd-fastest in Practice #1 on Friday and ranked 12th on the Practice #2 speed chart.
2. Kevin Harvick – Starts 6th – DraftKings Price: $10,900 – Yahoo! A Group
**Risk Factor: Low Risk**
The last time we were here at Dover, the #4 Chevrolet was the class of the field–until, of course, the pit crew made a mistake and Harvick was mired back in traffic. He never really recovered and ended up finishing 15th despite leading 117 of the 400 laps and having the 3rd-best driver rating. The good news for Harvick fans is that he now has a better pit crew that hasn’t made a major mistake in quite a while. The #4 Chevrolet will roll off the grid from 6th when the Citizen Soldier 400 goes green on Sunday and don’t be surprised to see Harvick leading once again at “The Monster Mile” at some point during the race. He won this race last year after starting 15th and finished 2nd in the May 2015 event here.
3. Martin Truex, Jr. – Starts 8th – DraftKings Price: $10,500 – Yahoo! B Group
**Risk Factor: Low Risk**
The #78 Toyota isn’t as strong this week as it was at Loudon last weekend, but Truex should still be at least a top 5 car on Sunday. In addition to starting 2nd for this year’s Citizen Soldier 400, Martin had a strong car here at Dover back in May, leading 47 laps before getting caught up in the big wreck. However, Truex was still able to rebound for a 9th-place finish, which was actually pretty impressive. Here at his home track, Martin hasn’t finished worse than 11th in the last five “Monster Mile” races and he has posted top 10 results in seven of the last eleven. With as strong as this #78 team has been lately, it wouldn’t at all be surprising to see Truex challenge for the win once again this weekend, especially considering he’s already locked into the Round of 12 and really has nothing to lose.
