Talladega NASCAR Happy Hour Notes
NOTE: Many drivers choose not to practice this session.
Joe Gibbs Racing – Early in the session the Joe Gibbs Racing cars and Truex Jr. all worked together over a long run. They took turns leading the draft.
Hendrick Motorsports – Early in the session they worked together in a pack along with Clint Bowyer and Ryan Reed.
Carl Edwards – Early in practice his teammates worked on a long run but he only completed 4 laps. He still had his vibration from the earlier session. His team then changed his transmission. At the end in an interview he said his team fixed the problem and it’s smooth. Likes his car. Said its as good as any car he’s ever had here.

Brad Keselowski – Did a tweet between practice sessions stating he has a fast hot rod and that he’s pumped to race on Sunday. Didn’t practice this session. They felt really good about their car. Using the same chassis he won with in May.
Kyle Busch – Seems pretty confident with his car. Said it feels good and has good speed. Doesn’t know if he wants to “race” or “ride.” Sounds like he’s more likely to “race.”
