DraftKings Texas Fantasy NASCAR Scoring Trends
Understanding DraftKings NASCAR scoring trends can be very helpful. Each track is different, and different compositions of teams can score big. This post gives you helpful scoring notes that can be learned from a race and tells you what type of “scorer” the top drivers were.
Here’s a breakdown of the terminology you’ll see below:
Elite Dominator – A driver who scores a very large notable amount of “Dominator” points
Super Dominator – A driver who scores a large amount of “Dominator” points.
Dominator – A driver who scores a notable amount of “Dominator” points.
Mover – A driver who moves forward a good amount of positions that really boosts their scores.
Good Finish – A driver who finishes near the front of the field.

Spring 2016 Scoring Notes
- The top 11 scorers all finished in the top 11.
- The top 13 scorers all finished in the top 14.
- 5 of the top 11 scorers started in the top 11.
- 5 of the top 10 scorers started between 15th and 22nd.
- The average starting position of the top 10 scorers was 11.9.
- The top scoring \”Super Cheap\” driver was Landon Cassill (31.5). He scored the 15th most points.
Fall 2015 Scoring Notes
- Brad Keselowski was an \”Elite Dominator.\” He led 312 laps and ran 94 fastest laps. No other driver led more than 11 laps or had more than 28 fastest laps.
- The top 10 scorers all finished in the top 11.
- 4 of the top 5 scorers started in the top ten.
- 4 of the top 10 scorers started between 18th and 27th.
- The highest scoring \”Super Cheap\” driver was Landon Cassill who tied for scoring the 12th most points (38).
Spring 2015 Scoring Notes
- Mover points weren\’t very prevalent in this event. Only 2 of the top 10 scorers could be described as \”Movers.\”
- The top 5 scores all finished in the top 5.
- The top 10 scorers all finished in the top 13.
- The top 15 scorers all finished in the top 16.
- 5 of the top 6 scorers started in the top 6.
- 7 of the top 10 scores started in the top 12.
- Only 2 of the top 10 scores started 25th or worse.
- The top scoring \”Super Cheap\” driver was David Ragan. He scored the 7th most points (48). It\’s important to note in that race he drove the JGR #18.
