DraftKings Daytona Can-Am Duels Playability Value Charts / Projected Base Scores
Below is our member exclusive DraftKings Fantasy NASCAR Playability Value Chart / Projected Base Scores for the Daytona Can-Am Duels. It should help give you a good idea what drivers you should target, and who you should avoid. I’ll also note the Base Score Projections exclude “Dominator points” (leading laps and getting fastest laps). Our Dominator column should give you a good idea what drivers we think will score big in that discipline.
A few fantasy notes that you should keep in mind for the Can-Am Duels
- It’s a short 60 lap race. If a driver leads every lap they can only get a max 15 bonus points from leading laps. You can’t target fastest laps points because they’ll be randomly distributed throughout the field with nobody getting a significant amount.
- There’s a slight trap element to this race. Some drivers might not be trying hard because they are already locked into their starting position (Chase Elliott and Dale Earnhardt Jr.), or the field (Elliott Sadler and Brendan Gaughan). There is some normal NASCAR points being rewarded so hopefully that will motivate drivers to race harder then in past years. Typically I would expect drivers main goal to be to avoid wrecking and having to bring out a backup car.
- Make sure you check out our NEW DraftKings Points Archive Tool page. I think serious fantasy racers will find it very helpful.
