Atlanta NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes
Brad Keselowski – Said his car is really good and unloaded with a lot of speed. Said he’s really fast in race trim. Likes his balance and said so far so good. Said his car is just as good or better as last year when the rules package was different. Towards the end of practice his crew chief said, “From what I can tell, it looks like we’re right there.” Had some type of smoke issue in the closing minutes. His team thinks everything is OK.
Kurt Busch – Towards the start he said, “Much better balance, a little loose on exit but it’s tied together well.”
Kevin Harvick – Has good long run speed. He’s likely focusing on comfort which is what he did last year in practice sessions and went on to dominate the race. Said his car is doing everything he wants it to do.

Chase Elliott – Started with a 21 lap run. Has a fast car this weekend. His crew chief has been pleased with his car. Made two twenty lap runs. Has good balance.

Thanks for adding 20 lap average speeds. I like it when we can get 15 or 20 lap averages.

It was on TV so I quickly wrote it down. I always try to get whatever relevant info out there that is available.
