Phoenix Fantasy NASCAR Mid Pack Predictions
AJ Allmendinger – In 4 of the last 5 Phoenix races AJ Allmendinger has finished between 16th and 17th. On Sunday I think he’ll likely finish right around that range again. Over the last five Phoenix races he has an 18.2 average finish and a 19.8 average running position. Last year at Phoenix he was very consistent and finished 17th both races. Last fall he was consistently a mid to high-teens driver. In addition to finishing 17th he had a 16th place average running position. In spring 2016 he finished 17th, earned the 20th best driver rating and had a 20th place average running position. In fall 2015 he had his only recent result outside of 16th or 17th and finished 24th. His result matched his average running position (24th). In the two Phoenix races prior to that he had results of 16th and 17th. (Yahoo B Driver)

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has been a respectable performer at Phoenix. Minus the two races he’s been involved in accidents he has a 16.3 average finish. Last fall at Phoenix he had his worst non-accident race. In the event he was a low-twenties performer who finished 23rd and had a 26th place average running position. In spring 2016 he blew a tire on lap 163 while running in 21st which led to him hitting the wall hard. When the race reached its conclusion he finished 37th. In fall 2015 he wrecked while running in 19th. In his first five Phoenix races he finished between 12th and 18th. In spring 2015 he tied his best result and finished 12th. (Yahoo B Driver)
Ty Dillon – At Phoenix Ty Dillon probably will be a high-teens to low-twenties driver. That falls in line with how the #13 car typically performs at Phoenix. With Casey Mears behind the wheel at Phoenix the #13 car has finished between 18th and 22nd in 3 of the last 4 races. At Phoenix Ty Dillon has two races under his belt. Last spring Dillon drove the #14 and finished 15th. Additionally in the race he earned the 16th best driver rating and had an 18th place average running position. In fall 2014 he made his first start and drove an RCR affiliated #33. In that event he finished 27th and had a 30th place average running position. (Yahoo C Driver)
