Phoenix NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes
Kevin Harvick – Did lots of big changes between practice sessions because he didn’t like his car in practice #2. His car wasn’t where he wanted at the end of Happy Hour. His team will be doing some big changes overnight to try to get his car to his liking.
Kyle Larson – Has exceptional balance at both ends of the race track. Liked the feel of his brake pedal. Ran a lot of laps. His car drops off a little more over long runs then he would like. Has a good car this weekend.
Kyle Busch – Best 5, 10, 15 and 20 lap averages. Very strong this weekend. Said his car fired off good.
Austin Dillon – Has been down on speed and his team has been doing lots of adjustments. Started with a 3 lap run and said his car was no good and came back to the garage.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Has a pretty good car. After his third run his team said they still have a few things to try in order to improve his balance.
