Understanding DraftKings NASCAR scoring trends can be very helpful. Each track is different, and different compositions of teams can score big. This post gives you helpful scoring notes that can be learned from a race and tells you what type of “scorer” the top drivers were.
Here’s a breakdown of the terminology you’ll see below:
Elite Dominator – A driver who scores a very large notable amount of “Dominator” points
Super Dominator – A driver who scores a large amount of “Dominator” points.
Dominator – A driver who scores a notable amount of “Dominator” points.
Mover – A driver who moves forward a good amount of positions that really boosts their scores.
Good Finish – A driver who finishes near the front of the field.

- Kevin Harvick was an elite dominator. He led 142 laps and ran 50 fastest laps.
- 3 of the top 4 scorers started 18th or worse
- 4 of the top ten scorers started between 18th and 34th.
- 6 of the top ten scorers started between 2nd and 11th.
- Of the top 23 scorers only 7 of them started in the top 11.
- The top 13 scorers all finished in the top 16.
- The top scoring Super Cheap driver was Landon Cassill. He scored the 7th most points.
2015 Scoring Notes
- Kurt Busch and Kevin Harvick had the best cars that afternoon. They started 1st and 2nd, and scored the 1st and 2nd most points
- The top 3 scorers finished in the top 3
- The top ten scorers all finished in the top 12
- 5 of the top ten scorers started in the top 11
- 7 of the top ten scorers started in the top 14
- 3 of the top ten scorers started between 17th and 31st
- The top scoring driver who could be considered \”Super Cheap\” was Justin Allgaier who scored the 4th most points.
