DraftKings Martinsville NASCAR Scoring Trends
Understanding DraftKings NASCAR scoring trends can be very helpful. Each track is different, and different compositions of teams can score big. This post gives you helpful scoring notes that can be learned from a race and tells you what type of “scorer” the top drivers were.
Here’s a breakdown of the terminology you’ll see below:
Elite Dominator – A driver who scores a very large notable amount of “Dominator” points
Super Dominator – A driver who scores a large amount of “Dominator” points.
Dominator – A driver who scores a notable amount of “Dominator” points.
Mover – A driver who moves forward a good amount of positions that really boosts their scores.
Good Finish – A driver who finishes near the front of the field.

Fall 2016 Scoring Notes
- Matt Kenseth, Brad Keselowski and Austin Dillon were the only drivers who scored in the top ten both races last year.
- The top 7 scoring drivers all finished in the top 7.
- 11 of the top thirteen scoring drivers finished in the top 13.
- 5 of the top 10 scoring drivers started in the top 10.
- 5 of the top 10 scoring drivers started between 17th and 32nd.
- The top scoring driver who could be considered \”Super Cheap\” was Michael McDowell who scored the 14th most points (38).
Spring 2016 Scoring Notes
- 5 of the top 6 scorers finished in the top 6.
- The top 17 scorers all finished in the top 17.
- Only 2 of the top 7 scorers started in the top 11.
- The average starting position of the top ten scorers was 17th.
- The highest scoring \”super cheap\” driver was David Ragan who scored the 18th most points (25).
- Half of the top ten scoring drivers could be described as \”Movers.\”
Fall 2015 Scoring Notes
- If Joey Logano wasn\’t wrecked while leading he would\’ve had a huge score and accumulated the most points. He was an \”Elite Dominator.\” He led 207 laps, and had 52 fastest laps.
- 9 of the top 10 scorers finished in the top 12.
- 3 of the top 7 scorers started in the twenties.
- The average starting position of the top ten scorers was 10.7.
- The top scoring active \”Super Cheap\” driver was Michael Annett who scored the 19th most points (36).
Spring 2015 Scoring Notes
- 5 of the top 6 scorers finished in the top 5.
- The top 7 scorers all finished in the top 8.
- The top 17 scorers all finished in the top 18.
- Only 2 of the top 10 scorers started in the top ten.
- 6 of the top 9 scorers started between 12th and 18th.
- The top scoring current \”Super Cheap\” driver was David Ragan who scored the 6th most points (57). It\’s important to note in that race he drove the #18 car.
