Texas Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
Texas Motor Speedway is the site of this week’s race before the first break of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup season. Sunday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 is going to be a haul, though, as the drivers will make 334 laps around this 1.5-mile race track. Typically, Texas has been pretty easy to handicap, but this track underwent a complete repave earlier this year, so it’s hard to know whether or not track history will mean anything this weekend. One thing to remember about the repave, however, is that they used asphalt similar to Kentucky Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway–where we raced at just one month ago.
