Texas NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes

Trevor Bayne – Wrecked 5 minutes into practice and will be going to a backup car. What happened is that he got out of the groove and lost control. Said he wrecked the fastest car he ever had. Got back out on the track with about 8 minutes remaining.

Kasey Kahne – Slapped the wall pretty hard in the closing minutes of practice. Will be going to a backup car. Early in practice he felt that his car was loose getting into the corners.

Aric Almirola – Had good speed. His team did some adjustments to give him a good feel for what he needs on Sunday. His team seemed happy with his car at the end of practice.

Erik – Worked to be more secure on entry into the corners. Didn’t drive aggressively in practice #2. Appears to have a respectable car this weekend.

Brad Keselowski – Had a very fast car again this session.
