Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Talladega
Brad Keselowski – Nobody was better than Brad Keselowski last fall at Talladega. He led 90 laps and if his engine didn’t go south there’s no question he was the driver to beat. His car was very strong and when he was out front nobody could get around him. He could also make aggressive moves and get to the lead when he wanted.
Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth – These two Joe Gibbs Racing drivers had misleading results last fall and finished poorly. They didn’t crash or have problems, they simply elected to race with zero effort because of playoff implications.
Martin Truex Jr. – Martin Truex Jr. had a strong car last fall and performance wise I thought he looked top ten good. Unfortunately his race wasn’t incident free and it ended early when his engine blew up on lap 42.
