Pocono Fantasy NASCAR Mid Pack Predictions
Ty Dillon – Ty Dillon is likely a high-teens driver at Pocono. Last spring in his most recent race there was nothing special about his performance. He finished 21st and had a 25th place average running position. In spring 2015 in his first race he had his best result and crossed the finish line in 18th. One aspect I like about Dillon is that he’s been finishing well in recent weeks. In 5 of the last 7 races he’s finished between 13th and 17th. (Yahoo C Driver)

AJ Allmendinger – AJ Allmendinger hasn’t been a bad performer in recent Pocono races. Over the last three he has a 12.7 and a 16.7 average running position. Last August he ran well throughout the race. When the checkered flag waved he finished 14th, had a 13th place average running position and earned the 11th best driver rating. In spring 2016 he started in 32nd but wheeled the #47 home to a 16th place finish. His average running position was 18th. In August 2015 he finished 7th. It’s important to note by no means was he that good. That result is very misleading and is the product of how the race ended when fuel entered the equation. Strength wise he was really about 20th place good. His average running position that afternoon was 19th. In 5 of the 6 Pocono races leading up to that event he finished in the 30’s. In the one race he didn’t finish in the thirties he finished 21st. (Yahoo B Driver)
