Pocono NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes

Kyle Larson – 10 minutes into practice he spun coming off turn 2 and didn’t hit anything. He was 2nd on the speed chart at the time. Said his car was too free. Appears to have a good car this weekend.

Joey Logano – Early in practice he had some power steering fluid that was leaking. Their biggest concern was turn 3. Said he didn’t like his speed in race trim yesterday. Ended this session 10th on the speed chart.

Kurt Busch – Was happy with his speed from yesterday in race trim. Had good speed again today. Practiced doing some fuel conservation. Following practice he said, “turned better in Turn 1 and 2 and a little freer in Turn 3” Ended practice 6th on the speed chart.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Wasn’t happy with his car. Said nothing was working with his left front. His car was tight. While he was 20th on the speed chart midway thru practice he said, “Still can’t get tight in the center.” Following his final run he said, “It was a little better.” His crew chief said its not where they want to be but they’ll keep trying.

Kyle Busch – His car had a lot of speed. He ended the session at the top of the speed chart.
