Fantasy NASCAR Low Tier – Kentucky
Michael McDowell – Michael McDowell has been solid given his tier at 1.5 mile tracks. In the last four races at tracks of this length he has an 18.3 average finish and a 23.3 average running position. Last year at Kentucky Michael McDowell missed the race and because of the track reconfiguration none of his other starts carry fantasy relevance. Performance wise at Kentucky I would look for McDowell to likely be high-teens to low-twenties good. (Yahoo B Driver)

Danica Patrick – Danica Patrick is likely a low to mid-twenties fantasy prospect at Kentucky. In her last two incident free races at tracks of this length she’s recorded finishes of 24th and 25th. Texas is the more similar of the two and she finished 24th there. Last year at Kentucky Danica Patrick finished 17th and had a 22nd place average running position. She ran in the top fifteen in just 3% percent of the laps completed. (Yahoo B Driver)
Darrell Wallace – Darrell Wallace will once again be driving the #43 on Saturday night. Performance wise I would lean towards him being around a low-twenties performer. This year in the #43 in his two un-restricted races he has results of 26th (Pocono) and 19th (Michigan). Last year at Kentucky in the Xfinity Series Suarez had results of 5th and 8th. (Yahoo C Driver)
David Ragan – David Ragan hasn’t been as bad as you’re likely thinking at 1.5 mile tracks this year. For the season at these venues he has a 24.0 average finish, a 26.4 average running position and has finished in the top thirty every race. This weekend at Kentucky I would set his baseline fantasy value as being a mid to high-twenties finisher. (Yahoo C Driver)
Landon Cassill – At Kentucky I would look for Landon Cassill to finish in the twenties. In all five races at 1.5 mile tracks this year he’s finished between 21st and 29th, so I think it’s likely this trend will continue. Additionally at 1.5 mile tracks this year he has a 25.4 average finish and a 28.2 average running position. Last year at Kentucky Cassill finished 29th. (Yahoo B Driver)
