Kentucky Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
We get back to some more predictable racing this weekend, as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series is at Kentucky Speedway for the Quaker State 400 on Saturday night. Kentucky is a 1.5-mile tri-oval that is fairly new to the circuit; they only stop here once per season and just started doing so back in 2011. This track was one of the roughest that the series stopped at because it was so old, but that changed last year, when Kentucky decided to repave turn 1 and 2 and increase the banking. However, they left the ‘famous’ turn 3–I’m sure you’ve seen the commercials–alone, which is one of the most unique among all tracks we visit. Rookies have had a tough time with Kentucky Speedway in the past, so that’s something to keep in mind when making your Fantasy NASCAR picks this weekend.
