Loudon Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
Short track racing is back this weekend as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series travels to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the 19th race of the season. However, Loudon definitely doesn’t drive like a short track, as this 1-mile venue has a mix of fast and long straightaways cut off by sweeping corners with variable banking. Sunday’s Overton’s 301 race is one of the shortest on the schedule, so it’s going to be very important for race teams to get a lock on their setup during the practice sessions over the weekend. If a team misses the setup to start Sunday’s race, they’ll be down a lap before they know it.
