Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Pocono
Jimmie Johnson – Jimmie Johnson was top ten good this spring at Pocono but finished 36th after wrecking. At the time of his incident on lap 95 he was running in 7th. If his race would’ve been incident free I’m pretty certain he would’ve finished in the top ten.
Kyle Busch – Kyle Busch was dominant this spring at Pocono. He had the fastest and nobody had anything for him in the race. He led 100 laps and would’ve driven his way to victory lane pretty easily if there wasn’t a late caution that put him at a tire disadvantage while leading. When the checkered flag waved he finished 9th.

Jamie McMurray – Jamie McMurray was a top ten contender earlier this year at Pocono but just like Jimmie Johnson he wrecked on lap 95 while running in the top ten. At the time of that incident he was running in 9th. If his race would’ve been incident free I think he had a great chance to finish in the top ten.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Earlier this year at Pocono Earnhardt Jr. broke his transmission in practice, and in the race. When he broke his transmission on lap 58 he was running around the mid to high teens. Performance wise he really didn’t show much potential and he was probably around a high-teens driver based on how he ran before his problem.
