Michigan NASCAR Practice #2 Notes
Denny Hamlin – Did some pit road practice at the start of the session. NASCAR wasn’t happy that he did this. Midway thru practice Hamlin said his car felt freer on entry and was darty. Christopher Bell drove the #11 in the second half of the session and completed 20 laps.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Liked his car at the start of practice. He said, “It feels really nice, this has changed everything about how the car drives in a good way.” At the time of those comments 10 minutes into practice he was 2nd. He liked that he could get to the throttle quickly.
Ryan Newman – Midway thru practice he was 20th on the speed chart. He said his car has been inconsistent.

Kyle Larson – His opening 7 lap run 15 minutes into the session had him 2nd on the speed chart. His crew chief was happy with how low he could run in turn 4. Very fast and ended the session #1 on the speed chart.
Brad Keselowski – His car was very quick this session. Ended the session 2nd.
