Darlington Fantasy NASCAR Mid Pack Predictions
Austin Dillon – Austin Dillon has been a solid driver at Darlington having finished in the low double digits in 2 of his 3 races. Last year Austin Dillon got an early speeding penalty but it didn’t end up mattering because he rebounded from it nicely. When the checkered flag waved he finished 12th and earned the 13th best driver rating. In 2015 he was simply a low-twenties driver. He finished 22nd, had a 21st place average running and earned the 23rd best driver rating. In 2014 when he made his first Darlington start he had a good performance and finished 11th. That’s slightly better than he performed because he advanced a handful of positions in the closing laps. Performance wise he was likely mid-teens to high-teens good. Also from the race it should be noted he earned the 17th best driver rating and had a 19th place average running position. (Yahoo B Driver)

Chris Buescher – Don’t overlook Chris Buescher at Darlington. He takes care of his equipment and at “The Lady In Black” that’s half the battle. Last year he had a strong debut, given his situation. He started 31st but wheeled his car home to a 17th place result. Additionally in the race he had a 19th place average running position and earned the 19th best driver rating. On Sunday I would look for Chris Buescher to likely be a high-teens driver. (Yahoo B Driver)
