Chicagoland Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
Race #1 of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs is this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway with the Tales of the Turtles 400. Chicagoland is one of those tracks that the series only visits once a year, and while other races in that category may be a little bit hard to predict, the races in Chicago are pretty cut and dry. Additionally, the drivers fighting for the championship always tend to be at their best in these final ten races, so those guys get a bit of a bump in the Fantasy NASCAR rankings this weekend. Martin Truex, Jr. went to victory lane here at Chicagoland last season but it was the Hendrick cars of Jimmie Johnson and Chase Elliott that led the most laps. Will we see another rookie be in contention for the win this year?
